You guys must already know about this coming event. I put this in website just to let everybody knows what's going on in case if you don't receive email regarding this program. As you all know, this is part of our fundraising activity so do come and join the event. I just copy the email and paste it here =)
Here's some updates about the fundraising mixed futsal competition we are organising this weekend.
Time : 9.30am til 3.30pm
Venue : Massey University, Rec Centre
Date : 3rd May 2008
We would like to inform you that each team can only have a maximum number of 8 players (instead of 10), consisting of 4 girls and 4 boys. This is due to the fact that most teams are having trouble to find 6 girls to form a team. Hopefully this would solve the problem.
We would like to remind you again that all participants should be paying $10 fee and this amount includes the venue hire charges, the medals which will be given out to the teams winning the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, food and drinks. Please note that this is a fundraising activity and any proceeds that WMSO receives from this competition will be used in organizing Bersatu Games 2008 which will be held in Wellington this year. Furthermore, we would like to remind all participants that payments should be made by Thursday 1st May 2008 to your team captains. To all team captains please contact Syarena (Nana) at 0210382232 once you have collected $10 from your team members.
Please note that there should be at least 2 girls and 2 boys on court at all times. All teams must report to the officials one minute prior to their matches and those which do not report in time will be forfeited. For each match, the winning team will collect 3 points, a draw gives 1 point and the losing team will earn no points and referees' decisions are final.

To get to Massey University, you can either take bus 10, 11, 21 or any buses that will be passing by Taranaki St. Please plan your journey accordingly. |
Since the event will be held in Massey University and most of us are from Victoria, you guys might not know where the location of the event is.
